In World Menopause Day: World Menopause Day 2018 – Patient Information Leaflet: Sexual Wellbeing After Menopause the IMS explain:

“The patient information leaflet is a guide to help women in mid life find their way through any sexual problems which can severely impair their relationships, mental health, social functioning and overall quality of life”.

On page two in their Patient Information Leaflet Sexual Wellbeing After Menopause the IMS note:

World Menopause Day 2018 What’s Hot“The most commonly reported sexual problems experienced by women after menopause relate to sexual desire and interest, pleasure and overall satisfaction. Vaginal dryness and discomfort with intercourse are also common problems. Sometimes loss of libido and arousal is simply explained by the hormonal changes. But at midlife, as at any life phase, other factors such as poor self-image, family responsibilities, less opportunity for privacy, and partner health affect sexual wellbeing”.
